This policy explains what information GTA MacBuy collects and how it is used when you request an offer for your MacBook.

Information we collect

When you submit the offer form, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, GTA area or nearest major intersection, MacBook model and configuration, device condition, optional serial number, photographs, and any notes you provide.

We also use analytics tools that may collect technical information such as browser type, device type, pages viewed, approximate location, and interactions with the site.

How we use information

Service providers

We use service providers to host the site, process form submissions, deliver notifications, and measure website usage. These providers may include Netlify, Formspree, Cloudflare Workers, Telegram, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity. Information may be processed or stored outside Canada under the laws of the country where a provider operates.

Retention and deletion

We keep submitted information only for as long as reasonably necessary to review the device, communicate with you, complete a transaction, maintain business records, or address security and legal requirements. You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us.

Your choices

Serial numbers and photographs are optional. You may choose not to provide them, although doing so can affect the accuracy of the initial review. You can also use browser controls or privacy tools to limit analytics cookies and similar technologies.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect submitted information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please avoid including unrelated sensitive information in the form or photographs.
